Need Versus Indifference

You were a warm cappuccino on a winters morn Some days it seemed I needed you even just to function I was a stain on your favourite shirt one you couldn’t wash out The harder you scrubbed The deeper I clung Eventually you gave up Forgot I was ever there My need grew with your indifference your indifference oblivious to my need Until one day

you went searching for me And discovered I was no longer there TYPICAL It was only then all of a sudden you decided to care
